Dear WTUC Family,
I hope that you had a wonderful week. We’re a week away from Halloween, which means the end of October is coming up really soon! I can’t believe 5/6 of the way through the year now. I am looking forward to see you on Reformation Sunday online via Zoom for our service (ahead of October 31 - which is known among the Protestant Christians as Reformation Day). We will continue our series “We Three Kings” and will look into the time of King Solomon. Pastor Jordan did a really good job of helping us see King David in a fuller light, and that sets us up really well for King Solomon. Our service begins at 11:00 a.m., and you can get the link and the details here.
Please make note on your calendars for Sunday, November 1. We will be not only be observing the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper but will also be observing the Sacrament of Baptism as well as a Membership Ceremony!
I wanted to remind you that we will be holding our annual Thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, November 15! It will once again be potluck style. We are currently gathering submissions on what everyone will want to bring in order to make sure that we have a good balance for our mealtime together. Please contact Ann Tang to let her know of your plans!
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Have a wonderful rest of your week!
Blessings,
Jonathan
