Special Easter Offering: We will collect a special Easter offering during the service today for The Second Harvest Japan, which has been supported by WTUC for many years for its great service of providing food to those in need. We will provide green envelopes for this purpose in addition to the regular offering in brown envelopes. Thank you for your faithful giving in support of the ministry of WTUC and of our outreach partners.

On this Good Friday, we take some time to reflect deeply on the work of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Mitaka Lutheran Church is offering a bilingual worship service for those who are interested in joining in person at the chapel of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary. The service time will be announced at a later date.

If you are unable to attend in person or would like to join for a service online, our sister congregation, Tokyo Union Church, will be holding a Good Friday service at 7:30 p.m. You are also welcome to join them on their campus on Omotesando.

On this Maundy Thursday, we invite you for a time of fellowship as we connect online to share a meal. This will be an opportunity to gather together virtually. Pastor Jonathan will also share a homily, and we will sing a closing hymn together as well. You can join us using the link below.
