Celebrating the love of God

Dear WTUC Family,

I hope that you had a good week. Each week, we are drawing closer to Christmas, and we are excited to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ every year. This coming week’s Advent theme is love. God is love, and His profound love was clearly displayed through the incarnation of Christ. Our recognition and celebration of His birth is central to our faith and what we believe, and I pray that this Christmas will be a true celebration for you.

This coming Sunday, we will be gathering in person on the campus of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary in Room 105 starting at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Paul Shew will be preaching about Mary’s Song, and we have a special luncheon after the service for the youth with pizza - though adults are also welcome to this special fellowship hour as well. For more on the service, check out the calendar event.

We will have our special online services on Christmas Eve at 6:00 p.m., Christmas Day at 9:00 a.m., and on Sunday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. You can find all of the necessary links on our calendar page.

May the blessings of Christ’s birth be with you these next few weeks as we celebrate Christmas.

Merry Christmas,
Jonathan
