Dark is dark, but the Light is brighter

Dear WTUC Family,

I hope that you have had a blessed week - and hopefully staying warm as well. I wanted to repeat my thanks to the whole congregation for their prayers, concern, and flexibility in this past Sunday’s service. Our family is now healthy and are doing just fine now. A totally different story from what we were dealing with this time last week.

We are going to be gathering once again online this coming Sunday, and we are looking forward to welcoming back Rev. Dr. Jim Sack to the pulpit. We certainly are living in a world where it seems like we are dealing with dark times, but it is important for us to remember that the light (rather, Light!) is brighter than the darkness. Jim has this encouraging word of hope for us. You can find all of the details on our calendar page.

We’ve been dealing with much colder weather recently, and so I pray that you are able to stay warm when you are out and about and that you are stay well as the winter cold is adding to the spread of colds, sniffles, and the flu. Please make sure to take care of yourselves, and if you ever need prayer, please do not hesitate to reach out by contacting us on the prayer page.

Have a blessed weekend, and blessings.
Jonathan
