Mark Your Calendars!

Dear WTUC Family,

I hope that you have enjoyed this refreshing season of autumn as we broke free from daily rain and saw crisp mornings and bright blue skies! Part of me wants to go get some corn dogs and cotton candy as it reminds me of the State Fair that always took place around this time of year. Of course, that’s hard to find around here, but maybe we could think of an event that might incorporate some fair food - like fried Snickers or a doughnut burger.

This Sunday, we will be gathering online for our weekly service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Paul Shew will be joining us to continue his series on Authentic Christian Faith for Today. You can find more details on the service here!

On Tuesday, Pastor Jordan will be leading the monthly devotional and prayer time! It will be held online beginning at 8:00 p.m. You can find the link here.

Speaking of autumn, mark your calendars as we are planning our annual Thanksgiving Service and Celebration! It is schedule for Sunday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. We will meet on the campus of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary for the service, and then we will have our special fellowship hour afterwards. More details are to come, but we want you to start getting the word out! You can print out the flyer and let your friends and neighbors know!

One other reminder: Early Bird Registration for the Women’s Conference is now open! It will take place in Nikko (the same location as the last couple of years) during the last weekend of February 2027. It is the 70th anniversary of this program! You can find details and the registration link here.

I hope that you have a blessed weekend, and I will see you online Sunday!

Blessings,
Jonathan
