Saying Hello to a Friend

Hello, WTUC Family.

I hope that you have had a wonderful week! It was feeling a bit more like summer this past week with the sun and higher temperatures. I hope that you have been enjoying your week but also taking the necessary breaks to take care of yourself.

This Sunday, we are welcoming back to an old friend. Malcolm Foster, whose family was here for two stints, will be joining us this Sunday as we continue to celebrate WTUC’s 60th Anniversary! We are going to hear how Malcolm and Mio have been doing with their lives in the United States. Our service will be online via Zoom beginning at 11:00 a.m. Please click here for more information!

As a reminder, the following Sunday on May 24, we will be holding a joint service with Mitaka Lutheran Church starting at 10:30 a.m. We will be observing communion, and we look forward to worshiping with our sisters and brothers in Christ at the chapel of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary! If you have a shade of red to wear, or if you have clothes from your native homeland, please wear it on that Sunday!

Also, we are actively recruiting for our WTUC Summer Youth Camp taking place in July! We want to get the word out! Please check out the page and send it to others so that they may be able to join us.

Have a wonderful weekend in Christ!

Blessings,
Jonathan
