Spring?
Hello, WTUC Family.
I hope that you are having a good week. Last Sunday, it was snowy and definitely cold as winter typically is. This Sunday, it looks like it will be warm and definitely not like winter. It’s interesting to see such a contrast in what we see outdoors in just a matter for a few days, but hopefully we can find thanks no matter what kind of weather comes our way.
This Sunday, we will be gathering on the campus of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary in Room 105 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Paul Shew will be joining us with a message appropriate for Transfiguration Sunday. We are coming to the end of this season between Christmas and Lent, and starting on Ash Wednesday, February 18, we will be going into our season reflecting more on Christ as we approach Good Friday and Easter. For more information on Sunday’s service, click here.
Speaking of Ash Wednesday, we will be holding an online broadcast of the Ash Wednesday service at 6:00 p.m. You can watch the service on our YouTube channel, and if you can’t watch it right at 6:00 p.m., please feel free to join at anytime after the premiere as it will be available to you.
Have a wonderful rest of the week, and blessings!
Jonathan
