Dear WTUC Family,
I hope that you had a wonderful week. Thank you once again for your understanding and flexibility in our service change last Sunday. It was good to be able to worship with you, even though it was different from what we had originally planned.
Coming up this Sunday, we will be meeting online for our worship service as usual. We will be continuing our mini-series with Rev. Dr. Paul Shew on Authentic Christian Living for Today. Our service will begin at 11:00 a.m. For more on the service, please check out the calendar link here!
Coming up on Tuesday, we will have having our monthly evening devotional led by our Pastor Jordan Haywood. It will begin at 8:00 p.m. and will include members from other Union churches in Japan. You can get the details here.
Our Thanksgiving Celebration Sunday is the following week on November 15! We will have an in-person service, and we will have our previously scheduled baptism and member induction taking place during the service that day. If you are planning to attend and would like to contribute to the potluck, we are still looking for volunteers to provide some drinks for the day. If you are interested in doing so, please contact Betsy Terada here! Make sure to invite your friends to the celebration by printing out this flyer!
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Blessings,
Jonathan
