The Easter Celebration Continues

Hello, WTUC Family.

Wow, what a wonderful Easter celebration we had this past Sunday! We are so thankful that we were able to worship our risen Lord and Savior and to have a wonderful time of fellowship together. From the Easter Egg hunt to the incredible meal to the entire service, so many people were involved in putting these activities together. Thank you for your part in participating in our service. We even had folks from other parts of the world tuning into our broadcast.

Easter does not end on Sunday. Our church calendar continues in the season of Easter for the next few weeks, and every Sunday throughout the year, we proclaim that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lives! This coming Sunday, we will be gathering online via Zoom at 11:00 a.m. for worship. Rev. Audrey Thorne will be preaching. Some of you may know Audrey. Audrey is a familiar face to those within the communities of Tokyo Union Church and the Women's Conference. Audrey served as pastoral assistant for youth and children's ministries at TUC from 2019 to 2022. She also was a keynote speaker at the Women's Conference in 2022. She graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in February. Audrey currently serves as a Lake Fellow in Parish Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Come join us for worship!
