A Golden Week
Dear WTUC Family,
I hope that you are having a good end to this week. As we are now in May, we’re hitting the Golden Week holiday in Japan. I know that many folks like to take the next few days to travel and relax, and I pray that you stay safe wherever you go and find the time to rest.
It is also a golden opportunity to come together for worship this Sunday. We will be gathering in Room 105 on the campus of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary at 11:00 a.m. If you are able to join us, please bring some finger food or a snack for us to be able to share. We will also be observing the Lord’s Supper during the service. Learn more about the service here.
As we get closer toward the end of the WTUC calendar year (which will run through the end of June), I would like to ask you to consider how you could serve our community in the upcoming year. We are in need of many volunteers, particularly in the areas of youth and children ministry, liturgy, and setup plus tech operations. Please prayerfully consider how you may be able to help out, even if it’s just once a month or two. We are looking forward to expanding how we serve the community in the upcoming year, and we would love to have your input and your ideas in the process.
Have a great weekend, and see you on Sunday!
Blessings,
Jonathan
