Our Need of Faith
Dear WTUC Family,
I hope that you had a good end to your week and the month of February. This month has certainly flown by for me, and when we meet on Sunday, it’ll be March already. We’re already seeing flowers blooming around Tokyo, and the cherry blossoms will be out before we know it.
Coming up this Sunday, we will be gathering in person at Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary Room 105. Our service will begin at 11:00 a.m., and we will be observing the Lord’s Supper. Our message will be helping us reflect on our need of faith as we continue through this Lenten season. After our service, we will have our fellowship hour, and if you are a regular attender at WTUC, we ask that you bring something to share, like finger food or snack, for us to enjoy together. You can learn more about the service here.
Last week, I mentioned that there were different options for us to observe Lent, and I mentioned about the study at Tokyo Union Church. Unfortunately, the online option is no longer available, but if you would like to have other opportunities to journey through Lent, please let me know. TUC is still offering online Lenten devotionals that you can read during this period.
I hope that you have a wonderful rest of the week, and I will see you on Sunday!
Blessings,
Jonathan
