Schedule Changes

Dear WTUC Family,

I hope that you are doing well and you had a good week. As we prepare for this coming Sunday, I pray that the Lord gives you joy and strength, reminding you of His love and grace each and every day. This coming Sunday, we are going to have a regular in-person service in Room 105 of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary. Rev. Dr. Jim Sack is going to be preaching on “The New Commandment”. We will begin at 11:00 a.m., and please make sure to bring either a snack or finger food for our fellowship time afterwards.

We originally had intended to do Youth Sunday for this weekend, but we had to make some changes, and so we are currently scheduled to have a Virtual Youth Sunday next week on May 25 via Zoom. If you are interested in being a part of our youth-led service, please contact Ruth Ingulsrud so that we can finalize plans for that Sunday! You can email her at youthandkids@wtuc.net!

Here’s how the schedule looks like coming up in June, which is a bit different from our usual setup over the past few months.

  • June 1: Online Service via Zoom (No communion)

  • June 8: In-Person Pentecost Sunday Service (Tenatively Joint Service plans, to be finalized soon)

  • June 15: Online Service via Zoom

  • June 22: In-Person Communion Sunday Service (with special WTUC Family celebration after the service)

  • June 29: Closing/Dedication Sunday Service Online via Zoom

It’s amazing how quickly the past few months have flown. I hope that you are able to join in worship the living God at WTUC in the coming weeks. Have a wonderful weekend, and blessings!

Jonathan
